SapphoX is a private online community for women who love women. We provide a digital platform for conversation, identity, and connection. We are not liable for user-generated content or off-platform interactions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not register or access the platform.
1. Eligibility
To join SapphoX, you must:

identify within the WLW spectrum (women, sapphic, trans women, queer femmes, etc.)

provide truthful information during registration
-
agree to community rules and safety standards
Accounts created with false information may be removed.
2. Purpose of the Platform
SapphoX exists to:

connect women who love women
-
create safe digital space
-
foster identity, discussion, and community
SapphoX is not a therapy service, dating platform, or professional counselling space.
3. User Responsibilities
Members agree to:

respect others and follow consent culture
-
avoid harassment, discrimination, or abuse
-
protect community privacy (no screenshots or external sharing)
-
not post spam, ads, or self-promotion
-
report harmful content when seen
You are responsible for what you post and how you interact.
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you create.
By posting in SapphoX, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content within the platform for operational purposes (e.g., showing posts in feeds, notifications).
We do not claim rights to distribute your content externally.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
We will not:

sell your data

share private content publicly

release personal info unless required by law or safety concerns
You agree to respect others' privacy equally.
Breaking confidentiality (sharing screenshots, outing members, reposting private content) may lead to removal.
6. Prohibited Activity
The following may result in suspension or a permanent ban:

impersonation or catfishing

harassment, threats, stalking
-
sexual content involving minors
-
hate speech or TERF ideology
-
predatory behaviour
-
data collection, scraping, AI training via content
-
creating accounts for men or mixed groups
We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.
7. External Interactions
If members choose to meet or interact outside the platform, SapphoX is not responsible for:

personal safety
-
physical meetups
-
exchanges of money
-
private relationships formed through the community
Use discretion and protect yourself.
8. Platform Availability
We may suspend or modify features, restrict access, or temporarily shut down services for maintenance. We are not liable for:

data loss
-
downtime
-
technical failures
-
third-party plugin errors
This is a community space, not a guaranteed commercial service.
9. Enforcement & Moderation
Moderators may:

remove posts
-
request verification
-
restrict access
-
permanently ban users
Our priority is safety, not neutrality.
There is no obligation to provide warnings before removal.
10. Legal Cooperation
In cases involving threats, abuse, minors, or suspected harm, we may:

retain logs
-
gather evidence
-
cooperate with relevant authorities
This includes violations related to child protection, hate crimes, or harassment.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the community evolves. Major changes will be announced to members.
Continuing to use the platform means you accept updated Terms.
